Monica Dwight joined FirstCarbon Solutions (FCS) as an Environmental Services Intern in June 2018. At FCS, she contributes to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents, writes blog posts, and produced a white paper on climate adaptation. Passionate about environmental sustainability, she is eager to gain a better understanding of CEQA from her accomplished peers at FCS. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a double major in Spanish and Political Science- Public Service with an emphasis in environmental policy. During her time in college, she illustrated her dedication to environmental causes as an Environmental Education Instructor for Sprout Up, a Water Program Intern at the Local Government Commission, and Director of the Whole Earth Festival.
